A gesture of solidarity for Pygmy children and Kahuzi-Biega National Park

Pygmy children at the Cibinda and Rwabika primary schools, in the Miti grouping, received school kits this Monday from the organization Engagement Citoyen pour la Promotion de la Paix et du Développement (ECPD), in partnership with the Gorilla association.

The initiative aims to support community conservation efforts in Kahuzi-Biega National Park by training, from an early age, a new generation of protectors of this World Heritage Site. By providing pupils with quality school supplies, ECPD and Gorilla help improve their learning conditions and strengthen their attachment to their environment.
