This baby gorilla was found on 22 December 2024 by Turkish customs at Istanbul airport, hidden in a small wooden box with barely a few holes to breathe through. Belonging to a species threatened with extinction, it was intercepted on a flight from Nigeria bound for Bangkok, Thailand, to be sold on the black market.

Every year, more than four hundred baby gorillas disappear from Africa's forests to feed a trade that is as lucrative as it is devastating for biodiversity 😡.

Let's say STOP to wildlife trafficking ✋🛑!
